Be nice to also be able to make our own light show colors from a wheel. Nor can you choose several other colors, but you will see all these colors when they multi change. For one, there is an aqua green color with one of the light changing options that turns green to blue to aqua green. Pretty sure the lights can do more than what is available as options if the app had those selections. It be nice for the most part other than needing more light setting options if it worked consistently.īut why is there not an option to pick LED colors from a color wheel like most LED lights offer these days? Not that we can use that right now until we get it resolved again. We finally set a timer on the box to have our lights turn on at night, so we don’t have to go to the box outside at night. We are completely unable to use this app to control our pool. But a few weeks ago, not even doing that resolves it. Usually, we have to unplug the router or whatever the connector that connects the communications from the box to the app is called. Constantly, this app is not working to control the pool. I just want to be able to control features on my pool without having to go to the breaker box to do that. But for this kind of investment, just got to speak up in hopes to get these things resolved. The ScreenLogic2 Interface Wireless Connection Kit (P/N 521964) can be used to eliminate the need to run this wire where impossible or impractical to do so.I never leave reviews usually, especially not negative ones. "Note: The above ScreenLogic Interface Kits (520502) require a four-wire, 22-gauge wiring connection from the IntelliTouch or EasyTouch Controller Load Center COM port to the protocol adapter within the home. I was just hoping part of the kit I already had installed given my system already has the wireless pentair controller. My question was really around the wireless connection which they have an entire kit for (p/n 521964). I would also contact the manufacturer of your existing pool controller to see if third party integration is even a possibility with your current model to make sure your not on a wild goose chase This will then allow for a easy integration and also provide an app for further control.
#My pentair screenlogic won t connect install
My best advise is to install a verifiable pool controller that has a ip driver available.
Still searching for some advice in this scenario. My sense is that others must have installed in some situations without a direct cable connection.
There are several parts to buy or that you could buy so wanted to make sure i get it right. Pentair sells an entire Wireless Package for its Screenlogic system but the wireless receiver looks identical to the one i already have installed. The other scenario that is less clear is using the existing Pentair wifi used for EZtouch remote to broadcast to a Pentair transceiver, then the transceiver integrates into the home network (or maybe even rs232). I think i have it understood for the scenario running a wire to the control unit. I don't recall ever seeing a pentair EZ touch driver so that could also be a limiting factor. It also has to be a unit that allows for integration. Every pool that I've integrated needed a wire to the controller to either provide a network connection or to use rs232.
